Reishi  tile has been grown using Ganoderma steyaertanum, a native Australian reishi also known as bracket fungus.  The tile took a few weeks to grow on sawdust and hemp.  It was baked for a few hours to prevent further growth.  The tile is a decorative  piece and at the same time totally biodegradable.
